Campus landscape architect Daria Hutchinson feature story
UW-欧克莱尔's Facilities staff have added a new tool in their ongoing work to make the campus more sustainable and environmentally friendly. Liquid salt brine is now being used to de-ice and pretreat roads and walkways in a more sustainable way.
UW-欧克莱尔 biology faculty and students led an ef为t this fall to remove invasive plants from Putnam Park. People from the university's facilities department, the city of 欧克莱尔 and the Chippewa Valley Technical College helped with the project.
